Couple vacation spot worth considering
The hotel really impressed me with the warm and cozy vibe in the lobby, it felt like home. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful when we needed directions around the area, made our trip so much easier.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but you get what you pay for with the quality.

It was a strong match for a weekend vacation in Reykjavik with very good value for money. The staff quickly addressed a drainage smell with a scented spray, making our room feel inviting. Look for free parking nearby to save some cash.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner where I got to chat with the Head Chef about his amazing Steak Tartare! The spa was another highlight. the sauna and jacuzzi really helped us unwind after a long day. Just a heads-up, the bathroom door was a bit thin, so a little privacy could be improved. 😊

great location but limited dining options
The location is fantastic as it is close to multiple dining spots and attractions. The friendly staff went above and beyond in accommodating our needs like laundry service which exceeded my expectations.
The dining options at the hotel were somewhat lacking.

The room was really spacious and clean, perfect for my bags. The amenities were modern, and the big comfy bed made a difference. Really enjoyed the shower too—super luxurious! Only downside was the bathroom setup felt a bit off, like the sink was outside which can be awkward. Overall, a solid place to crash after exploring.

easy strolls to harpa and the iconic halgrimskirkja
During my stay, I loved how close I was to Harpa Concert Hall, just a short walk away, and the breathtaking Hallgrimskirkja, which was almost 2 km from the hotel, making my city strolls enjoyable and scenic. the hotel also provided quiet rooms that made for a comfortable rest after busy days exploring the sights.

missingWrote a review on May 06cozy loungegood locationpoor layout
The lounge area is impressively designed, providing a cozy spot to relax while enjoying a casual atmosphere. The location offers easy access to local attractions, which is fundamental for those wanting to explore on foot.
The room layout is far from practical, with a lack of privacy due to the toilet being behind a glass door with no seal. The overall bathroom situation is awkward, with the sink in the main area leaving little room for comfort during personal care routines. I also found the shower to be poorly designed, as it flooded the entire room due to subpar drainage. The color scheme is dreary and the lighting inadequate, making the space feel outdated. Soundproofing is another issue, as I could hear every cough and snore from neighboring rooms. Finally, the breakfast area often felt overcrowded, leading to long waits and a hectic dining experience.

Charming lounge with a cat, modern design with unique features, well-equipped rooms
Bathroom privacy concerns due to glass doors make sharing uncomfortable. Lack of available parking needs to be addressed, as it can become frustrating during busy times!!!
